RAD – Radiography Instructor Qualifications

Full Time Radiography Instructor

• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Science or Radiography and
• Bachelor degree or higher in any field, or obtain within 24 months of hire
• Master’s degree in any field if applying for Program Director role, or obtain within 18 months of hire
• Current ARRT certification and
• Oregon license in radiography – or obtain within 3 months, and
• 2 years or more radiography work experience. Recent teaching experience at the college level or industry training experience, or a combination of the two, may be substituted, year for year, for recent experience in the imaging industry.

Part Time Radiography Lab or Lecture Instructor

1. Current ARRT certification and Oregon license in radiography and
2. At least 2 years experience working as a radiographer at a facility with radiography students (time spent in clinical training meets this requirement).
