Details about this class
Welcome to General Chemistry I Lab. To join this lab, you need to be co-registered in my lecture section. This lab is filled with lots of hands-on experiments which are designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of chemistry, learn various lab techniques, learn how to write scientific reports, and help you build your critical thinking skills.
This is an in-person lab at the Sylvania campus. We will meet once a week for lab. You need to be able to attend all the in-person sessions in order to register for this class. No remote labs are available for this class.
Required materials can be viewed online at the Sylvania Bookstore website and include the new lab manual.
Registered students will receive a copy of the syllabus closer to the start of the term providing more details about the course. If you would like more information before you register, please email me to obtain a copy of an old syllabus.
Be sure to check your PCC email regularly before class begins for important course details!
